The power of DocuWare is enhanced by a web service integration created by CoreForm to create communication between DocuWare and Freight 2020. The implementation process began with the electronic processing of incoming invoices. For this purpose, invoices are imported from the Pickering AP email box automatically. CoreForms’ document optimiser tool pushes all the captured invoices through a PDF conversion process to enhance OCR effectiveness before storing and processing the incoming invoices. With this solution, Pickering can capture key information from low-quality documents and image headers and footers. Pickering’s success with DocuWare encouraged them to consider implementing in other departments. The next opportunity arose in the digitalisation of HR hiring processes, including online job applications, onboarding, and induction. The plan is also to use DocuWare for all their additional imaging needs.
